Inspired by a Texas vision for public education.
Our name honors Mirabeau B. Lamar, widely known as the “Father of Texas Education.” Lamar believed the future of Texas depended on a lasting public investment in education.
That conviction helped shape the early foundation for publicly supported schools and higher education in Texas.
We carry that legacy forward by helping build the next generation of public schools.
For us, the question is not simply whether a child has a school to attend. The question is whether communities can create schools families want and kids deserve.
